This course is designed for construction site and industrial yards’ operatives who utilize different types of Mobile Elevating Work Platforms (Scissor Lift/Boom Lift etc.) in building, civil engineering, and mechanical activities. The course will be useful for participants as it enables Construction, Oil and Gas, and Production Factories employers to fulfill the training obligations under current Kingdom of Bahrain, Ministry of Labour safety training requirements.
An understanding of the different types of Mobile Elevating Work Platforms, safe use of Scissor lift & Boom Lifts, knowledge of general maintenance, an understanding of the work platform manual and logbook, correct instrument and control use, understanding of limit switches, knowledge of safe load indicators, center of gravity, judgment of height and distance, knowledge of current legislation, aptitude and learning ability, general attitude, and performance during assessment.
