PR328: PR359: Food Safety Management System ISO 22000:2018 Lead Auditor (CQI and IRCA Course Approval No – 2036)
ISO 22000:2018 defines the requirements of a food safety management system covering all the organizations in the food chain. The standard helps organizations identify and control food safety hazards. This course is an intensive and highly rated 5-day program for the preparation of delegates in conducting audits and verifying conformance with ISO 22000:2018 based on the new structure of ISO and, also, in accordance with ISO 19011:2018. The overall concept of the course is to provide practical and theoretical knowledge of the Food Safety Management System with respect to auditing.
The ever-increasing popularity of food safety, as one of the key aspects of the food industry, has boosted demands from organizations to get certified against ISO 22000. Such certification demonstrates commitment from organizations toward the wellbeing of their consumers and provides sustainability in the market. A RICI auditor credential is a formal and independent recognition of your personal competences. It proves that you are qualified to conduct food safety management system (FSMS) audits for a certification body.
This training course has been developed to reflect the importance of an effective audit. It strengthens your knowledge and skills to plan and carry out an FSMS audit in compliance with the guidelines for auditing management systems provided in ISO 19011.
This 5-day course takes you through practical exercises, interactive sessions, and discussions; you will be able to gain knowledge on the FSMS and audit techniques. You will also be able to perform an FSMS audit by applying widely recognized audit principles, procedures, and techniques, as well as be able to manage an audit team.
After acquiring the necessary expertise to perform this audit, you can sit for the exam and apply for a CQI and IRCA approved RICI ISO 22000 Lead Auditor credential. By holding a CQI and IRCA approved ISO 22000 Lead Auditor Certificate, you will demonstrate that you have the capabilities and competencies to audit organizations based on best practices.
Ensures that the participants are able to interpret requirements of ISO 22000:2018 in the context of a Food Safety Management Audit. This course can help in developing lead auditing expertise, determining whether your management system (and those of your suppliers) is effective and developing the confidence to manage internal or third-party auditors.
ISO 22000:2018 enables an organization to plan, implement, operate, maintain and update a food safety management system that has the intention of providing products that are safe for consumers. It also allows your organization to effectively communicate food safety issues to suppliers, customers, and relevant interested parties in the food chain.
