Chemical Safety & Spill Management Training Course

This course is designed to provide essential knowledge and practical skills for handling hazardous chemicals safely and managing spills effectively in the workplace. Participants will learn how to recognize chemical hazards, respond to hazardous material spills, and limit potential environmental and financial impacts.

Who Should Attend

Employees, technicians, supervisors, and safety professionals who work with chemicals in construction, industrial yards, or the Oil & Gas sector.

Assessment Methods & Criteria

Assessment Methods: Interactive group discussions, individual activities, practical sessions, and exercises.

Assessment Criteria: Participants will be evaluated based on their understanding of chemical safety protocols and their ability to manage hazardous spills and emergency situations effectively.

Course Details

Course Duration: Two (02) Days – Theory & Practical

Participants: Max. 15 – Min. 05

Pre-requisites: Familiarity with the use of chemicals in construction site/industrial yard activities.

Course Venue: Courses are held at the RICI Training center but can also be held at the client's premises, tailored to their needs. The number of participants will depend on available facilities for tailored courses.

Delegate Assessment: Delegates will be assessed based on their progress throughout the course. A certificate of competence will be issued to delegates deemed to have achieved a satisfactory standard.
