About Us

Our Business

Long before we embarked on our journey, a famous Chinese proverb had created the template for our quest for excellence.

“A journey of a thousand miles begins with a simple step,” the proverb declares.

When RICI was launched 50 years ago, we had one simple ambition: To be the best in the business. Yet, in order to attain that position, we had to put in the hard yards, to steel ourselves for the many hurdles and obstacles that were sure to be littered in our path forward and to overcome adversity

We took heart, right at the inception of our enterprise, from a famous Rudyard Kipling quote which is paraphrased here: “If we met success and failure and treated them both as impostors, we would be a balanced company!”

Our professional services can be summarized into

1) Third party inspections (We are a SASO and LEEA accredited Inspection Body)
2) Material Testing Laboratory – Civil construction material, Physical , Chemical and Environmental (We are ISO 17025 accredited by SAC, IAS and approved by PME and Royal Commission)
3) Calibration Laboratory (we are ISO 17025 accredited)
4) Training Services (we are CQI and IRCA (UK)
5) Management System Auditing Services (accredited by IAS, PNAC and SASO for ISO 17021, can offer various certifications in the field of ISO 9001, 14001, 45001, 50001, 22000 etc…)
