ISO Certification Lead Auditor & Lead Trainer
Job Summary:
The ISO Certification Lead Auditor & Lead Trainer is responsible for conducting third-party audits for management system certifications and delivering training programs on ISO standards. This role ensures compliance with accreditation requirements, enhances the knowledge of clients and trainees, and upholds the organization’s commitment to quality and excellence. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in ISO audits, training delivery, and a strong understanding of various ISO standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Audit Responsibilities:
- Conduct third-party audits for various ISO standards (e.g., ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, ISO 22000, etc.) in accordance with IAS accreditation requirements.
- Prepare audit plans, perform audits (on-site and remote), and draft detailed audit reports.
- Assess clients’ management systems for compliance, identify gaps, and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Communicate effectively with clients to clarify findings, resolve queries, and ensure understanding of audit results.
- Stay updated on changes to ISO standards, audit techniques, and accreditation requirements.
Training Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver ISO training programs, including Awareness, Internal Auditor, and Lead Auditor courses, in accordance with CQI and IRCA requirements.
- Customize training materials to meet specific client needs while ensuring adherence to accreditation standards.
- Facilitate engaging and interactive training sessions to enhance participant understanding and competency.
- Evaluate trainee performance and provide feedback to support their certification journey.
- Maintain records of training sessions, evaluations, and participant certifications.
Compliance and Process Improvement:
- Ensure all audits and training programs meet the requirements of IAS and CQI and IRCA accreditation standards.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of audit methodologies and training materials.
- Support the organization in maintaining compliance with accreditation and certification body requirements.
Client and Team Collaboration:
- Collaborate with clients to understand their certification and training needs and provide tailored solutions.
- Work closely with the operations and technical teams to ensure seamless delivery of services.
- Represent the organization professionally in interactions with clients and stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Quality Management, Environmental Science, Occupational Health, Food Safety).
- Certified Lead Auditor for multiple ISO standards (CQI and IRCA registered preferred).
- Certified Lead Trainer for ISO management systems (CQI and IRCA registered preferred).
- Minimum 5 years of experience in ISO certification audits and training delivery.
- Strong knowledge of IAS and CQI and IRCA accreditation requirements.

- Experience in third-party certification audits for IAS-accredited certification bodies.
- Expertise in delivering training programs approved by CQI and IRCA.
- Knowledge of emerging ISO standards and trends in certification and training.
Work Environment:
- The role involves significant travel for on-site audits and training sessions.
- Flexibility to work remotely or in a hybrid environment for virtual audits and training delivery.
