Overview:
At RICI, the scope of civil construction material testing is limited to the testing of concrete, soil, and asphalt. In this respect we are looking for a young, dynamic, qualified, and competent person to manage testing operations as supervisor in compliance with technical standards, quality assurance and control requirements.
Certification:
- Valid RSO Certificate
- Saudi Aramco-BPCTU CTTA Valid Card
- ACI Concrete certified technician
Experience:
- Detailed knowledge of ASTM Standards relevant to material testing of concrete/soil/Asphalt
- Detailed knowledge of ACI Standards
- Detailed knowledge of AASHTO standards
- Detailed knowledge of radiation safety
- Test equipment maintenance knowledge
- Practical knowledge of ISO9001 Quality Management system
- Practical knowledge of ISO 17025 Quality Management system
- Hands of experience of performing concrete/soil and Asphalt testing and calculation and data reduction of test results independently
- Detailed knowledge of Type of equipment used for concrete/soil and asphalt testing, their calibration process and maintenance requirements
- Hands on experience to work with LIMS or similar ERP software to manage laboratory operations
- English Written and spoken
- Mathematics- Arithmetic’s (Intermediate Level) 12th grade mathematics. (Multiplication, division, addition, decimal, rounding)
- Microsoft office (Excel, Word) (Lab technician)
- Health Safety Knowledge
- Software knowledge LIMS
Responsibilities:
- Manage complete operations of construction material testing technically in the laboratory and field operations
- Management of the laboratory workforce (Supervisors, laboratory technicians, field technicians), administration
- Training newly hired technicians
- Ensuring that Quality management system ISO17025 implementation, monitoring and measurement
- Face internal and external auditors during internal and certification audit
- Maintenance and calibration of all the test equipment
- Effective communication with clients
- Planning and scheduling of laboratory day to day operations
Posting:
You will be posted in the head office, however extensive travelling shall be required to monitor operations in Riyadh, Jeddah, Jazan and eastern province (Jubail, Haradh, Hafoof, Safniyah and other future locations)
