QC Engineer (Calibration Services & ISO/IEC 17025)

The QC Engineer – Calibration Services is responsible for ensuring the technical integrity, accuracy, reliability, and quality of calibration activities performed by the laboratory.

The position ensures that calibration activities comply with ISO/IEC 17025, applicable international standards, approved calibration procedures, customer requirements, and the laboratory's accredited scope.

The QC Engineer is responsible for monitoring calibration processes, reviewing technical records and certificates, ensuring metrological traceability, controlling calibration equipment and standards, monitoring measurement uncertainty, and supporting continual improvement of the laboratory's quality and technical systems.

· Implement and maintain quality requirements applicable to calibration activities in accordance with ISO/IEC 17025.

· Ensure calibration activities are performed using approved and controlled procedures.

· Monitor compliance with laboratory SOPs, work instructions, calibration methods and quality procedures.

· Ensure personnel performing calibration activities are trained, competent and formally authorized.

· Maintain personnel competency and authorization records.

· Participate in internal audits and external accreditation assessments.

· Identify, document and follow up on nonconformities.

· Monitor corrective and preventive actions.

· Support management review activities.

· Identify risks and opportunities affecting calibration activities.

· Support continual improvement of the calibration laboratory.
