Special skills & knowledge

  • Understanding and practical knowledge of employment laws and employer best practice (wherever RICI has offices).
  • Awareness of ISO 90001: 2015, 17025: 2017 and 45001:2018.
  • Organized and methodical approach to HR administration and record keeping.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and relationship management.
  • Excellent IT Skills.
  • Fluency in English.


Should have relevant experience of 3 years


Provide general day-to-day HR support across the RICI (local and all overseas offices current offices are in KSA, Bahrain, Pakistan and Canada) as part of the RICI HR function in relation to all HR, Employee Benefits, Training and Development and other HR administration for RICI employees and (as necessary) all in compliance with statutory obligations and best practice.



  • Managing the recruitment inbox – responding to all speculative applications and agencies as appropriate and passing CV’s on for further consideration;
  • Assist the HR Manager / HODs in the production of job descriptions and identifying key competencies for each role;
  • Ensure that all members of staff have a job description;
  • Liaising with local and overseas agencies and organizing the advertising of roles internally and externally as appropriate in conjunction with the HR Assistant;
  • Scheduling interviews in diaries as required in conjunction with the HR officer / Assistant (in overseas offices);
  • Screen CVs and complete / arrange first stage interviews for professional and support staff as required; and,
  • Ensuring that all recruitment administration is completed in a timely manner in conjunction with the HR Assistant; and,
  • Liaising with local and overseas agencies for the smooth process of visa stamping of new joiners;
  • Any other services in respect of above-mentioned subject matter.


Salaries / payroll:

  • Responsible for the co-ordination of the monthly payroll process for all countries;
  • Manage the collation of payroll information and the production of monthly HR salary documentation;
  • Responsible for updating HR salary database pages and all internal salary spreadsheets;
  • Responsible for dealing with all salary queries from staff and partners;
  • Coordinate the sending out of salary review letters and bonus letters to all staff;
  • Co-ordinate and manage payroll giving via monthly salaries; and,
  • Any other services in respect of above-mentioned subject matter.


Joiners and Leavers: 

  • Arrange to conduct the first day HR induction for all new joiners, transfers, maternity / paternity returners, etc. ensuring they receive the appropriate level of induction;
  • Complete the probationary reviews for support staff and month reviews for professional staff (excluding Trainees) and advising line managers / HODs on any necessary action arising from performance or conduct issues and finding appropriate solutions;
  • Scheduling all probation meetings and sending confirmation of end of probation letters;
  • Assist the other HR Assistant with all HR administration related to joiners and leavers as required such as vocation settlement, Final settlement etc;
  • Any other services in respect of above-mentioned subject matter.


Employee Relations:

  • Organize and manage all aspects of the family-friendly processes including maternity, paternity, adoption, parental and unpaid leave and oversee re-integration on return from leave ensuring all necessary paperwork is completed and Heads of Department are kept fully up to date;
  • Assist with a whole range of employee relation issues as and when they arise;
  • Have a thorough understanding of HR law in particularly relating to contracts, terms and conditions, discrimination, maternity / paternity, dismissal processes, grievances, etc;
  • Dismissal, grievances and redundancy issues – assist with these processes as required and manage the administration; and,
  • Any other services in respect of above mentioned subject matter.


Learning and Development:

  • Responsible for the management and maintenance of records of the RICI Training;
  • Booking and scheduling of all RICI training;
  • Making all bookings and scheduling for external training;
  • Processing invoices for payment of external and internal trainings;
  • Collating course data, including confirmation, at the end of each training for review by the Management Board;
  • Responsible for the External Training budget;
  • Organizing and booking parental coaching for staff members as required i.e. Maternity and Paternity coaching; and
  • Any other services in respect of above mentioned subject matter.



  • Assisting the HR Manager / HODs with the scheduling of internal soft skills appraisal training;
  • Liaising with training providers re-training requirements in the absence of the HR Manager / HODs;
  • Assisting the HR Manager / HODs in coordinating with soft skills training providers to gather their requirements for the day and arranging the logistics for the training sessions;
  • Assisting the HR Manager / HODs with sending and collecting appraisal training feedback forms;


Policies and Procedures:

  • Knowledge and understanding of all the firm’s policies and their practical application in order to provide advice and support to all staff.


HR Administration:

  • Ensure all employees Iqma, CPR and other visa related matter are timely renewed;
  • Ensure that all staff personnel changes are documented and updated in respect files (in hard and soft forms);
  • Ensure that all HR filing and archiving of leaver files is up-to-date;
  • Respond to tenancy and employment reference requests;
  • Work alongside HR Manager, HR Assistant and HODs in managing the data contained in soft and hard forms, ensuring it is accurate and up-to-date;
  • Ensure that staff on maternity/paternity leave are invited to all firm events;
  • Act as the HR contact for First Aiders attending quarterly meetings with the First Aiders to discuss any issues and/or training requirements;



  • Respond to ad hoc HR queries on a day-to-day basis;
  • Have a full working knowledge of HR software;
  • Undertake ad hoc projects as and when required;
